Disaster Alert: May 4, 2020

A torrential rainfall on April 22nd caused extensive flooding in Dire Dawa in north central Ethiopia. The flooding damaged homes, household items, personal items and impacted livelihoods. Beneficiary impact details are not yet available.

The local community provided food and some have allowed affected families to live in their homes temporarily. The Project Facilitator is working with the Child Development Centers to assess impact and determine how to best support the families.

Please pray for the affected beneficiaries, families and church partners as they recover from the impact of the flooding.
