Heavy Rain in Honduras

On November 6, 2023, heavy rains caused flooding and mudslides in the northern part of Honduras. The rivers were flooding and caused damaged to the homes nearby. To date, 53 participants have been impacted. Child Development Centers (CDCs) monitored the situation and supporter the participants and families who were affected by the heavy rain. The National office of Honduras and CDCs supported those impacted by providing food kits, hygiene kits, household items, temporary shelter and home repairs. The National Office of Honduras continues to communicate with CDCs to monitor and assess support for those impacted.

Please pray for protection of any further damage from the heavy rains, flooding and mudslides. Please pray for the impacted participants and their families as they recover and repair their homes.
