Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.
There are an estimated 18 million people unemployed in India.
Pray that graduates of Compassion’s own programs will become businesspeople in their communities, providing jobs and helping others break the cycle of poverty.
Unemployment is highest among young adults. Pray that young people will lay a strong foundation for employment through education and training.
Ask God to provide vocational training and business loans for caregivers willing but unable to find work.
