Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.

More than 700,000 newborns die each year in India — largely from preventable causes. Neonatal care and assisted childbirth can prevent many of these deaths.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Pray that the lessons mothers learned through Compassion’s Survival Program in India will help them continue to raise happy, healthy babies.

Pray that women will find midwives and medical care in or near their communities to have healthy pregnancies and deliveries.

Pray that God expands medical care for babies born in poverty in India.
