Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.
In Indian homes fathers are considered the authority, making most family decisions. Fathers in India work an average of 56 hours a week — but with low wages, they still struggle to provide for their families.
Ask God to provide education and training for fathers in India.
Pray that God would provide stable jobs for fathers.
Pray that fathers will seek wisdom when making decisions about their children, especially their daughters who are particularly vulnerable in this patriarchal society.
