Most of us know that children living in poverty have physical needs that need to be met — like access to food, water and medical care. But we can’t let ourselves forget that caring for these children’s emotional needs is just as urgent as meeting their physical ones. That’s why staff members and volunteers at churches around the world sacrifice time and energy to care for each Compassion-assisted child’s mental health. But they can’t do it without your help. Your support helps provide services like Christian counseling and your words of encouragement remind children that they are known and loved. Together, we are working to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
