“How to Use My Account” Video Transcript
Hi. I’m Kiah. And today, we are going to be talking about how you can use My Account to connect with your sponsored child. Most sponsors now send their letters digitally by logging into their account on compassion.com in an area called My Account. My Account is a sponsor hub you can access once you begin sponsoring a child. In My Account, you can see your entire conversation history with your sponsored child. So it will make your life a lot easier. Now, you won’t have to keep track of physical letters or worry that you’ve repeated content from your last letter. You can also save drafts to come back to later. And you can incorporate pictures without having to print them.
Now that we’ve covered the basics of writing letters on My Account, let’s dive into some more details on how to use it. First, you are going to log into your My Account under “Write My Child” and select “My Letters.” Here you can view your entire conversation history with each of your sponsored children. Here, you can pick a template that you like and start writing. Keep in mind that you can save this as a draft and come back later. Remember not to feel bad if your letter doesn’t fill the whole page. A typed letter takes up way less room than handwritten letters, which might make it look shorter to you than it really is. From here you can attach pictures. You can include a few photos or even make a separate photo page.
