Israel sells his family's mangoes

At a young age, Israel started working alongside his parents, cultivating mangoes on their small family farm. However, for all their hard work, wholesalers took advantage of them, purchasing their produce at a shamefully low price and keeping them mired in poverty. But now, intervening for Israel’s family and other poor farming families, the local Compassion partner church purchases their produce at a fair price. Then the produce is distributed to Compassion-assisted families to sell, boosting their income too. Israel says, “They pay me enough, and it is enough to provide for my parents.”
