Mango Lassi

Your family can pray for children in India while making this creamy drink.

Since food in India is often spicy, Indians eat yogurt dishes to help balance the heat. Try this mango lassi [LAH-see] to cool down this summer.

Ingredients

(makes 2-3 servings)

  • 1 c. plain yogurt
  • 1 peeled, seeded and chopped mango, or 1 c. frozen mango pieces
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water

Directions

  1. Let your child place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Garnish with additional mango pieces if you’d like.
