Partners of Compassion FAQ

Sometimes sponsored children have needs beyond what sponsorship covers. For instance, a child who has been orphaned may need extra support. Or a child who has had his home destroyed by a flood may need shelter. Your gift will help provide this extra level of care that is so needed.

By contributing to Partners of Compassion, you can help provide:

• immediate care for orphans
• disaster relief
• clean water
• toilets and hygiene
• emergency medical care
• education and training programs for caregivers
• extra nutritional support
• HIV and AIDS response, including education, prevention and treatment
• malaria prevention and treatment
• immediate care for children while they are waiting to be sponsored

Your gift will be directed to Partners of Compassion, a program that helps sponsored children in their hour of greatest need. If your sponsored child ever needs special assistance, Compassion will certainly provide your child with the extra care he or she needs.

Absolutely! Your relationship with your sponsored child is incredibly important. We know that for many sponsors, their monthly sponsorship gift is a sacrifice. We are so grateful for the love and care you give your sponsored child. If you cannot make this additional commitment, please continue doing what you’ve been doing — making a difference in the life of your sponsored child. Your sponsorship will not be affected at all.

Certainly. You may cancel the extra monthly gift for Partners of Compassion at any time. This will never affect your sponsorship. Simply call (800) 336-7676 and we’ll be happy to help!

If you are able to do so, that would be a true blessing. Compassion assists many children right now who need urgent, critical care. But if you sponsor multiple children and are more comfortable giving a total of $7 per month — or an amount of your choosing — we completely understand. We are so grateful for any amount you can give for children in need — whatever God lays on your heart!
