Vanessa sits with her newborn, Anggy

Vanessa was worried when she saw mosquito bites on her baby, Anggy. She knew that mosquitos carry malaria and dengue, diseases that are especially life-threatening to vulnerable babies. Her worries were eased when the Compassion center where she and Anggy are enrolled in the Survival Program provided her with an insecticide-treated bed net. Now, Vanessa says, “I sleep with her under the net, and I don’t have that problem anymore.”
