Week 10 - "She Was a Gift From God"

Elizabeth is a growing, energetic 3-year-old in Compassion’s program in Kenya. "I wept with joy the first time I held my baby tightly in my arms," says her mom, Mwanajuma, who had a difficult delivery that required surgery. Mwanajuma says that if she hadn’t been in the Survival Program at the time — which allowed her to give birth in a hospital — Elizabeth would not have lived.
