reflection in a Christmas ornament of children

Compassion-assisted children live in different countries, speak different languages and have different physical features. But in December, one thing they have in common is an excited anticipation of the Christmas celebration at their Compassion center. Center staff go to great lengths to ensure the children in their care enjoy a memorable celebration of Christ’s birth, including individual gifts funded by sponsors and donors, selected specifically for each child. Global staff are dedicated to finding creative ways to bring smiles to children’s faces at this special time of year.

Hey, friend! Just a heads-up ... your Photo of the Week will look a bit different starting in 2022. At Compassion, we’re always looking for ways we can do things better — from delivering letters to helping children to sending emails! You’ll still continue to receive the things you’ve grown to love about Photo of the Week; you’ll just be receiving them in a new format. Stay tuned in 2022 for more. In the meantime, keep being awesome!
