Week 27 - Future Star of Women’s Soccer

After honing her soccer skills with a professional trainer at her Compassion center, Ciku Wanjiku earned a school scholarship and a spot on a semiprofessional team. "Not many people here, especially girls, get a chance of making it out," she says. "But that is what this soccer team has given me — a chance, an opportunity to be someone."
