Daylight saving time ends tomorrow. But in a poor Kenyan home without electricity, it doesn’t matter. Whatever the time of year, activity stops at sunset. That was the case in Dennis’ home until his Compassion center implemented a project to install a solar-powered light in each assisted child’s home. Now 11-year-old Dennis, able to study in the evenings, is at the top of his class. His dream is to become a doctor.
