Rabbi and his sister, Farzana

Last year, Rabbi (left) had just started second grade and his sister, Farzana, had started kindergarten, when the pandemic closed their school. Although their Compassion center was also closed for group activities, the center’s textbooks and other reading materials were available for children to check out. Also, the center staff encouraged parents to continue their children’s education at home. Rabbi and Farzana’s mother, Rakiza, says, “We are glad to have Compassion’s library. We get access to read interesting books.”
