When Compassion helped its church partner in Sak Sida, Burkina Faso, install solar panels and a borehole to provide electricity and water for the church, the community was overjoyed. These are comforts most in the town simply did not have access to. Now, children use the lights for studying. Families don’t have to walk hours each way looking for safe water. And they congregate around the local church where they hear the good news.
