Week 11 - Building Community — and Future Skills

When a Compassion-assisted church center in Brazil challenged sponsored teens to develop and implement a community service project, Adailton (from left), Carlos and Wesllayne accepted. They helped rebuild the home of a grandmother, Lucia, and her seven grandchildren, who’d been living in a dilapidated structure. "We discovered skills we didn’t even know we had," Wesllayne says. "Knowing that Mrs. Lucia is happy makes me happy."
