Week 36 - Beauty From Ashes

Stacey Baugh’s first reaction to her friend dying in the Sept. 11 attacks: anger. Anger that 27-year-old Angie’s life was cut so short. As she grieved the loss, Stacey thought of Angie’s sponsored child whom she’d loved so much. Stacey took over sponsorship of the girl in El Salvador to honor Angie and ensure that her sponsored child didn’t lose Compassion’s support.
