Heybi, Ibania and Leticia sit together at their Compassion center

March is Women’s History Month, celebrating renowned leaders who started out as determined young girls. Heybi, Ibania and Leticia (left to right) are from one of Honduras’ poorest regions, where school dropout and illiteracy rates are high. But because of the support of their Compassion center, these girls are straight-A students, aiming to make history by creating a brighter future for themselves, their families, community and nation.
