Kit was born in Slidell, Louisiana, and gave his heart to Jesus when he was 11 years old. While growing up, he saw the two most influential men in his life work with passion: his father, who was an attorney, and his grandfather who was a pastor.
Kit followed in both of their footsteps. In 1997, he graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Christian education. In 2002, he graduated from Louisiana State University Law School with a Juris Doctor and diploma in civil law, including international exchange experiences in Argentina, Costa Rica and France. He has held various positions, including directing international programs, consulting and most recently working at a Miami-based law firm where he practiced commercial law. In addition to English, Kit speaks Spanish, French and Portuguese.
He met his lovely wife while he was in Buenos Aires, and they have three beautiful daughters. In his spare time, Kit enjoys jogging, writing, reading and international travel. He cheers for the Kansas City Royals.
