Thanks to generous donors, three Compassion Child Development Centers in Chota, Peru are implementing library and computer labs. These educational improvements benefit 843 children. As there are no computer labs where the Compassion centers are located, this is a great opportunity for children to learn computer skills in this remote place.
The Compassion centers have changed the spiritual and physical lives of these children, but now their academic futures have changed as well. Limited resources are no longer keeping these children from receiving a good education. Now, they have access to the technology resources they need without traveling to an internet café and paying for access.
Jhander, a high school student, shares his heart, “Thank you, Compassion International. Thank you, sponsors, for believing in us. Thank you for thinking of us. We live surrounded by mountains and far from big cities, but God is here and He has planned this for us.”
