Arlene Wieland

Arlene, known by many as “Mom”, “Grammy”, “Gram”, as well as “Auntie Arlene”, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25th, 2022. Throughout her life, Arlene spent countless hours corresponding with the many Compassion International children sponsored by KWD Landscape Architecture, at times the number of children sponsored was well over 100. She was attentive to responding to their comments and questions, and did an excellent job keeping track of birthdays and Christmas gifts. Over the years, many of the children have aged out of the Compassion program as they became adults, but a few still kept in touch with “Auntie Arlene” over the years. Arlene joins her husband of 64 years, Jim, in heaven. She leaves behind her son and daughter, their spouses, four grandchildren, their spouses, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Arlene leaves a huge empty space behind that no one can fill as well as she did, but we all rejoice knowing she has begun eternity with the Lord and her loved ones. Love you Mom, Love you Gram.
