Strong Year-end Monsoon Rains in Sri Lanka

On October 24, 2023, heavy monsoon rains caused flooding in several parts of Sri Lanka. The floods and mudslides damaged hundreds of houses in twelve districts. To date, 122 participants have been affected. Thankfully, are participants and their families are safe and healthy. The Child Development Center (CDC) has since visited the homes of the affected participants and plan to utilize the Disaster Assistant Program funds to provide aid to the impacted families.

Please pray for the peace and love of God over the participants and their families as they recover from the flooding and heavy rains. Please pray for wisdom over the leaders as they continue to support impacted families.
