As of May 15, families are still recovering from the after-effects of the monsoon. Many damaged or destroyed homes have been patched using tarps. To date, 12 Child Development Centers (CDCs) and 29 Participants have been impacted by the floods. CDCs have begun assisting families in rebuilding or repairing their homes. The Compassion Philippines National Office continues to monitor the situation closely.
Please continue to pray for families as they begin repairs on their homes.

On December 25, 2022, a monsoon brought heavy rains causing flooding and landslides in the cities of Oroquieta, Ozamis, Jimenez and Gingoog. Many homes were partially or completely destroyed by the extreme weather. To date, 12 Child Development Centers (CDCs) and 29 Participants have been impacted by the flooding. Thankfully, all participants and their families are safe and healthy. The CDC has been working with local government to provide relief to affected families and help them rebuild their homes. The Compassion Philippines National Office is providing support to the affected families and CDCs and continues to monitor the situation.
