As of April 18, the flood waters have begun to recede due to a break in the heavy rainfall. To date, 319 Participants and one Child Development Center (CDC) have been impacted by the flooding. Homes in the area are still flooded. Many families are still temporarily living with relatives or in nearby shelters. The CDC continues to assist the affected families and has been able to resume regular program activities.

Please continue to pray for all families who were impacted by the flooding.

March 28, 2023

In March, the Mearin River overflowed in Trizidela, Brazil. The flooding caused damage to many homes. The Child Development Center (CDC) has been helping families find temporary shelter either with relatives or in nearby rental homes. The CDC has provided affected families with food and hygiene kits and continues to monitor the situation. Please rest assured that we will notify you as soon as possible if your child is affected in any way.

Please pray for the participants and their families as they face this difficult situation.

Disaster Final Report: August 7, 2023

As of August 4, the flood waters have completely receded in Trizidela. In total, 319 participants and one Child Development Center (CDC) were impacted. Thankfully, everyone is safe. The CDC helped families return to their homes and provided emergency food and cleaning supplies. The CDC has returned to normal programming, and families have resumed their daily activities.
