On October 1, 2023, heavy rain caused flooding in the western region of El Salvador. To date, 111 participants have been impacted. Thankfully, everyone is healthy. The Child Development Centers (CDC) have been utilizing Disaster Relief Funds to provide the affected families with groceries, hygiene kits, clothes and blankets. Currently, the rain has stopped and families are working on recovering from the flooding.

Disaster Final Report: October 19, 2023
As of October 19, 2023, the heavy rain has subsided in Western El Salvador. In total, 111 participants were impacted. The Child Development Centers (CDCs) have provided affected families with groceries, hygiene kits, clothing, blankets and assistance with home repairs. Families have resumed their daily activities.
