On August 14, 2023, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused flooding and other damages in El Salvador. To date, one Child Development Center (CDC) and 51 participants have been impacted. Thankfully, everyone is currently healthy. The CDC has utilized Disaster Relief Funds to provide the affected families with groceries, hygiene kits, clothing items and blankets.

Please pray for all families who were impacted by the extreme weather conditions.

Disaster Final Report: September 11, 2023

As of September 11, 2023, the heavy rain has decreased in El Salvador. In total, one Child Development Center (CDC) and 51 participants were impacted. The CDC utilized Disaster Relief Funds to provide families with items such as groceries, hygiene kits, clothing and blankets. In the long term, the CDC will help families with home repairs so they can fully recover from the flooding. Families have returned to their daily activities.
