Heavy Rain in Kanungu, Uganda

On March 3, 2023, heavy rain impacted the town of Kanungu, Uganda. The rain damaged crops and flooded many homes. The damage to the crops caused food insecurity. In total, 54 participants were impacted by the heavy rain and subsequent food insecurity. The Child Development Center (CDC) provided the affected families with emergency food kits, new seeds for planting and repair materials to help rebuild their homes.
