The strong winds and rains in Cajamarca, Peru have decreased in intensity. A total of 76 participants and their families have been affected. Many families experienced damage to their homes and have received assistance from the Child Development Centers (CDCs) to repair their homes. Families are returning to their usual activities, and the church will continue to support them and follow up with them.

Rain and strong winds have been occurring in the northern region of Peru during the month of November. Local communities have had plastic coverings and tents delivered, and the roads have been cleared of floodwater and debris. To date, 14 participants and their families have been impacted. The Compassion Peru National Office has provided disaster relief funds for food, water, mattresses and clothing for the affected families.
