The flooding in Blitar City, East Java, Indonesia has receded and life has returned to normal. In total, 48 participants and their families and one Child Development Center (CDC) were affected by the flooding. CDC activities have resumed and the affected participants and their families received assistance to meet their needs such as food, medicine, vitamins, soap, etc.
Please continue to pray for affected participants and families, as well as strength and safety for those supporting them.

Heavy rains caused flooding in some districts of Blitar City, impacting many participants and their families. The flood water damaged houses, streets and rice fields. The Child Development Center (CDC), along with local organizations, are temporarily sheltering some of the families. The Compassion Indonesia National Office and the CDC has provided basic relief and is continuing to assess the impact. A specific list of affected participants is not yet available.
Please pray for the affected participants and their families as they recover from the damage.
