Expanding to New Countries

1 in 3 children worldwide live in poverty. Nearly 14,000 of these children under the age of 5 die each day. These are just some of the facts that compel us to act, to expand our borders and relentlessly pursue releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. That’s why we’re working to expand into Malawi, Zambia, Cambodia and Myanmar and are continuing to seek opportunities in other countries as well.

Our expansion is the culmination of years of prayer, relationship building, biblical discernment and intensive research. Although the mission is urgent, our pace is deliberate. We walk in the wisdom God provides and respond to needs verified through data and research. By partnering with local churches and denominational groups already established in these countries, we can extend their reach and capacity to care for children in poverty, helping kids grow and thrive in their God-given potential.

Please join us in prayer for the expansion as, together, we work to bring the hope and love of Jesus to new communities in need.

Compassion will relentlessly pursue expansion into new countries because millions of children still live in poverty and therefore can’t thrive in their God-given potential.

We want to see child poverty eradicated in our lifetime. Below are some facts that illustrate the urgent need of children in poverty — and why we’re so motivated to reach more of them.
