Myanmar and Malawi

1 in 3 children worldwide live in poverty. Nearly 14,000 of these children under the age of 5 die each day. These are just some of the facts that compel us to act, to expand our borders, and relentlessly pursue releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. That is why we are expanding into Malawi and Myanmar and continuing to seek opportunities in other countries as well.

Our expansion is the culmination of years of prayer, relationship building, biblical discernment and intensive research. Although the mission is urgent, our pace is deliberate. We walk in the wisdom God provides and respond to needs verified through data and research. By partnering with local churches and denominational groups already established in these countries, we can extend their reach and capacity to care for children in poverty, helping them thrive in their God-given potential.

These initial efforts to expand into Myanmar and Malawi are already resourced by generous supporters, but you can help by joining us in prayer for the work. In the future, we will share when we have other opportunities to partner with us in these countries!

Compassion will relentlessly pursue expansion into new countries because there are millions of children still living in poverty and therefore not able to thrive in their God-given potential.

These are just some of the facts that compel us to act, to expand our borders, and relentlessly pursue releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. We want to see child poverty eradicated in our lifetime. That’s why we are expanding into Malawi and Myanmar and continuing to seek opportunities in other countries as well.
