Cooking series featuring Aarti Sequeira recognized as Winner for Best Video Podcast.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Oct. 6, 2026 - Compassion International’s Made to Share series was named the Gold Winner for Best Video Podcast at the 54th Annual ICVM Crown Awards.
The cooking series, created by Compassion International in partnership with Food Network star and chef Aarti Sequeira and New Bridge Studios, brings together food, faith and stories of generosity. Each episode features Sequeira preparing a recipe while talking with a guest connected to Compassion about hospitality, faith and what it means to share with others.
“Made to Share was created around a simple idea: food has a way of bringing people together,” said Andrew Kooman, Manager of Brand Partnerships and Campaigns at Compassion International. “We’re honored to see the series recognized by ICVM and grateful to Aarti, New Bridge Studios and all of the guests who helped bring these conversations to life.”
The six-episode series features conversations with guests including Ben Higgins; Julie Lyle Carr; David Latting; and Levi Lusko.
In one episode, Sequeira prepares coffee-marinated skirt steak with Ben Higgins, founder of Generous Coffee, while they discuss hospitality, generosity and faith. Other episodes explore recipes and stories connected to different cultures and communities where Compassion works.

The Made to Share series launched in November 2025 and is available on Compassion International’s YouTube channel. A new episode arrives this October that features an Ethiopian chili crisp, inspired by the country where Aarti and her family sponsor a child through Compassion. The ICVM Crown Awards recognize excellence in Christian film, television and media production. Now in its 54th year, the Crown Awards are among the longest-running awards programs focused on faith-based media.
