In Memory of Milton Lee Woodall
Milton Lee Woodall, born January 4th, 1941, was a devoted husband and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. His life was marked by his unwavering faith and more than 57 years of dedicated ministry.
Milton was married to his beloved wife, Cynthia Woodall for 34 years. Together they were blessed with four children: Michael, Lydia, Nathanael, Rebecca, 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Cynthia’s passing brought profound loss and grief to his family, but he continued his faithful walk in the calling God had placed on his life.
In 2003, Milton married Beverly. Through their marriage, he was blessed with a devoted wife, 4 stepchildren, as well as additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband and they both continued together in ministry, faithful until his sudden passing.
For more than 57 years, Milton faithfully served as a pastor. His ministry was not simply a profession- it was his calling and a reflection of his deep love for God and people. God’s ministry through Milton took him to California for 42 years, Texas for 5 years and multiple interim positions after his full-time retirement. He spent his life preaching the Gospel, serving those in need, and pointing people towards Jesus Christ.
Of all that Milton accomplished throughout his life, his greatest accomplishments were not measured by titles, years of ministry, or earthly achievements. His greatest accomplishment was that he loved Jesus Christ. His faith was the foundation of his life, and he sought to live his life in a way that honored his Savior.
Milton leaves behind a legacy of ministry and service and will be remembered for his commitment to Christ and his years of pastoral ministry, and the many lives touched along the way. His ministry will continue through those he loved and served throughout his life.
His family takes comfort in knowing that Milton faithfully served the Lord he loved and is now resting in His presence. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23
