Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Learn more about the different roles we have available (age requirements apply) where you can use your time and talents to support Compassion’s mission and bring hope to children around the world.
Volunteer Age Requirement: 16+
As a table volunteer, you’ll interact with event attendees at the Compassion booth, helping them start their sponsorship journey and answering basic questions about Compassion and child sponsorship.
Pro Tip: This role is suggested for current Compassion supporters who can share their personal experiences of child sponsorship with event attendees. This can include sharing letters, photos and even international trips taken to see their sponsored child!

No! Sponsorship or financial contribution is not a prerequisite for volunteering.
To volunteer, simply search for an event you're interested in serving at in your area. At the point of signing up, you will be prompted to create an account with Compassion. An account is required to volunteer. This allows us to contact you with important information about the event and enables you to use your account to sign up for other events in the future.
