Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Learn more about the different roles we have available (age requirements apply) where you can use your time and talents to support Compassion’s mission and bring hope to children around the world.
Volunteer Age Requirement: 16+
As a table volunteer, you’ll interact with event attendees at the Compassion booth, helping them start their sponsorship journey and answering basic questions about Compassion and child sponsorship.
Pro Tip: This role is suggested for current Compassion supporters who can share their personal experiences of child sponsorship with event attendees. This can include sharing letters, photos and even international trips taken to see their sponsored child!

Be sure to check the “My Events” tab in the Volunteer section of your account on compassion.com to see a list of all events you’ve signed up for.
If you’ve never accessed your account before, log in for the first time using your sponsor number, which can be found at the bottom of any email you’ve received from Compassion.
You’ll also receive a confirmation email when you sign up, along with event details five to seven days before your volunteer shift.
