Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about hosting a Compassion Sunday event or child sponsorship? We’ve got answers!

As many as you can! Of course, it depends on the size of your church, but we’ve found that, on average, three to five children get sponsored at an event. The main thing to remember is to leave all the results up to God. We can trust him to work!

Compassion Sunday Is for All Ages

In Hamilton, Massachusetts, a group of fifth graders hosted a Compassion Sunday event. Their class has supported Christian, a boy in Uganda, since 2017, and they wanted to encourage their church family to support even more children in poverty.

Leaders in the church encouraged the children to participate in ministry and see that their involvement makes a powerful impact.
