Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.

The World Bank says that by 2020 natural disasters in India, including droughts and floods, could push 14 million additional people into poverty. When disasters hit, makeshift homes crumble or wash away and food and clean water are scarce.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.

Pray that farmers will have access to education that will teach them about drought-resistant crops and livestock as they prepare for their families’ futures.
Pray that, in times of disaster, God’s people will support one another and the Church will be a safe place to go for protection.
Pray for shelter for children as their communities face natural disasters.
