Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.
The Dalits, or “untouchables,” a large segment of Indians, are not included in the official poverty count. These marginalized people are ignored and excluded from any support offered through the government.
Pray that those low in the caste system in India will find hope in knowing that there is One who loves and values each of them.
Ask God to give church leaders and members support to care for those marginalized in Indian society.
Pray for continued dismantling of the caste system in India and that the church there will be instrumental in caring for Dalits.
