Compassion has been forced to close our program in India after nearly 50 years. Join us in praying for the children, families and churches who have lost our support.

Millions of children work to help support their families in India. These children forfeit an education as well as a childhood, having no time to play or make friends.

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

Pray for the children who live in rural India and make up 90 percent of the country’s child laborers.
Ask God to keep children who work outside of their homes safe and protected.
Pray especially for children who are being exploited and forced to work long hours in dangerous conditions. Pray for rescue for these precious children.
