Before COVID-19, Gustavo’s single mom, Carla, found it difficult to meet her three children’s needs. Since the pandemic’s onset, her struggle has only increased. Thankfully, the Compassion center Gustavo attends provides regular food supplies to the family to help them through this especially challenging time. Carla says, “They give us more than food. They help with advice, encouraging words and prayer. I don’t know what my family’s situation would be without them.”
