Week 48 - Empowering Caregivers

Small business is not only an important component of our country’s economy, but it is also an important component of Compassion’s ministry. Aynalem, pictured here, is a great example. Along with seven other mothers with children attending a local church’s Compassion center in Ethiopia, Anynalem was supported through a special intervention to open a small retail store in the community. Now, Aynalem and her business partners are empowered to better provide for their families and help their children achieve a brighter future free from poverty.
