Donate to Children in Uganda
Compassion began its ministry in Uganda in 1980 and since then generous people have donated to children in Uganda through the ministry. It is estimated the 38 percent of the population lives below $1.25 per day. Your support provides vital resources to help these children have hope and the resources they need to succeed.
When you donate to children in Uganda, your support helps the entire family:
- Children receive nutritious food, medical services, educational tutoring, clean water, extracurricular activities and service opportunities.
- Adolescents receive vocational training like carpentry, tailoring, crochet, etc so they can help the family as well as prepare them for their future.
- In Uganda, parents also receive helpful resources like adult literacy classes, quarterly classes on topics like hygiene, parenting, sanitation and also training in income-generating classes.
