Togo Birthday Celebration

Happy Birthday, Yawa! Yawa celebrates her first birthday with family.

Outside the Compassion Nurturers center, people gather to celebrate Yawa’s first birthday, a major milestone in the lives of babies and their families here. Their joy is loud and contagious!

As baby Yawa crawls with ease, her mother Davi beams with joy and gratitude.

Today, this celebration is not just about the birthday — it’s about the future that’s now possible because of the Compassion Nurturers center and supporters like you.

"Our heartfelt thanks go to those who send financial aid to support pregnant women and mothers,” Davi says. “They are the ones who helped our lives. We thank them very much and hope that their good deeds will continue and bring blessing to both them and to us who benefit from their help."

Because of you, these moms and babies can celebrate today. And because of you, there will be more parties to come. Thank you!
