Letters to and from your sponsored child will allow you to learn about each other’s lives as you offer support and encouragement. Also, you’ll be able to watch the child you sponsor grow through photos shared from their Compassion center.

You will receive regular prayer requests for your sponsored child and information on local crises that affect them.

By providing access to education, health care and basic necessities, child sponsorship acts as a catalyst for lasting change. Children sponsored through Compassion are surrounded by safe adults who know them individually, live in the love of Jesus and offer the specific support they need as they journey out of poverty.
Jesus is 7 years old and lives in Bolivia with his father, mother, sister and 2 brothers. He loves art or drawing, ball games, clapping hands to rhythm, dancing, group games, hide and seek, jumping, listening to stories, marbles, to play house, putting words together in phrases, rolling a ball, saying words, singing, soccer or football, throwing a ball, toy cars, and walking. At the Compassion Center, he enjoys learning about God, singing songs, listening to Bible stories, playing games, snack or meal time, doing arts and crafts, learning new vocational skills, and participating in service activities. Jesus writes letters in Spanish.
