Sponsor a Child Like Deborah
Three-year-old Deborah was born deaf. When her parents heard that cochlear implants could change that, they felt hopeful for their daughter.
Sadly, the surgery, cochlear implants and rehabilitation would be far beyond what they could afford. Deborah’s Compassion center reassured the family that they would help with the cost.
On the day her implants were activated, as her parents said her name, Deborah began searching for the source of the sound. She could hear!
Deborah continues to thrive. She’s even learning to speak, imitating sounds she hears. And her family? They’re full of hope for Deborah’s future.
