Help a Child Like Thidaporn

Thidaporn dreamed of becoming a nurse. But because of poverty, her dream felt impossible amid tuition costs and fierce competition.

“Sometimes I cried. Sometimes, I thought of giving up because the study was so hard. But every time I felt that, I always remembered the conversations and encouragement from my sponsor,” Thidaporn says.

Since Thidaporn was sponsored in Compassion’s program at age 6, letters from her sponsor, David, became her lifeline. When rejection from a top university nearly crushed her hope, David’s unwavering belief lifted her up.

Today, Thidaporn is enrolled in nursing school. With her Compassion center’s support and David’s encouragement, she has the confidence to reach her dreams.
