As a child, Dhivan couldn’t read or write, so no school would enroll him. When it came time for secondary education, so he could get a job to support himself, no institution would take him in.
Dhivan’s situation seemed hopeless. But those at his Compassion center saw his potential.
They provided tutoring, which helped Dhivan learn to read and write. The center also worked to get Dhivan enrolled in a room attendant course, empowering him to get a job at a local hotel.
