Give Chickens to Provide Nutrition and Income
Live chickens give families a reliable source of food while also helping them become self-sufficient through the income they earn from selling eggs and chickens.
The lack of food and income threatens children with illness and lost potential.

How Chickens Change Lives
When you give chickens, you help a family get a reliable source of nutrition and a sustainable way to generate income. Six-year-old Valentina and her family in Mexico were given 20 hens and started selling eggs. Within a year, they had a thriving business. Now, the family has 700 hens that produce around 300 eggs a day.

Buy a Chicken for Kids Like Juna
Juna’s father worked long hours as a motorcycle taxi driver but didn’t make enough money to buy the food his family needed.
When Juna’s family received a gift of 30 chickens, along with training from Juna’s Compassion center, they were able to feed themselves and generate income. Now they have more than 200 chickens on their thriving farm.
“Thanks to the center and donors’ support, we can provide for our families and grow our businesses,” says Juna’s mom, Katerine. “I feel like an entrepreneur woman!”
