How to Become a Compassion Event Volunteer

Compassion partners with artists, pastors, and speakers at concerts, conferences, festivals, and other events happening across the United States. At each of these events you can play a vital role in helping children connect with a Sponsor. Each event is unique, so there are several different ways that you can make a difference in the life of a child!
To become a Compassion event volunteer, you’ll need a Compassion account. Use the 'Volunteer' button below to log into your Compassion account where you can search and sign up for events.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Use your time and talents to support Compassion’s mission and bring hope to children around the world.
Volunteer Age Requirement: 16+
As a table volunteer, you’ll staff the Compassion booth, help event attendees fill out the sponsorship sign-up form and answer basic questions about Compassion and child sponsorship.
This role also allows volunteers to share their own personal experiences with child sponsorship (e.g., letter writing, photos, international trip experiences).

Be sure to check the “My Events” tab in the Volunteer section of your account on compassion.com to see a list of all events you’ve signed up for.
If you’ve never accessed your account before, log in for the first time using your sponsor number, which can be found at the bottom of any email you’ve received from Compassion.
You’ll also receive a confirmation email when you sign up, along with event details five to seven days before your volunteer shift.
